Acceptable Use Policy

01 Using this website

You may browse this website, read our material and submit a genuine business enquiry. You may not attempt to interfere with it or misuse it.

• Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its server or any connected system.
• Do not introduce malware, or attempt a denial-of-service or brute-force attack.
• Do not scrape, harvest or systematically extract content, contact details or images without written permission.
• Do not submit false, misleading or automated enquiries, or use our forms to send unsolicited advertising.
• Do not upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, obscene or that contains another person's data you have no right to share.
• Do not copy, republish or resell our written content, layouts or design work without permission. Quoting a short extract with a link and attribution is fine.

We may block access, retain evidence and report serious misuse to the relevant authorities.

02 Work we will not take on

We decline engagements that would require us to build interfaces designed to deceive or harm the people who use them. Specifically, we will not design or implement:

• interfaces that impersonate another brand, bank, government body or payment provider;
• phishing, credential-harvesting or fraudulent payment pages;
• deceptive patterns intended to trick users into consenting, subscribing or paying — including hidden costs, forced continuity, disguised advertising, confirmshaming and obstructed cancellation;
• fake countdown timers, fabricated scarcity, fabricated reviews, fabricated testimonials or fabricated trust badges;
• interfaces for unlicensed financial, medical or pharmaceutical offerings, or for any activity unlawful in its target market;
• cookie banners or consent flows engineered to obtain consent that is not freely given;
• content that promotes hatred, harassment or violence against any group.

If we discover mid-engagement that work falls into one of these categories, we will raise it with you first. If it cannot be resolved, we may terminate under the Terms of Service, and fees for work already performed remain payable.

03 Client conduct

We expect professional, courteous communication in both directions, and we hold ourselves to the same standard. We reserve the right to end an engagement where a client subjects our team to abuse, harassment or discriminatory treatment. In that situation we will invoice work performed to date and hand over work in progress.

04 Reporting misuse

To report a security issue, abuse of this website, or a site impersonating us, email info@webicsconsulting.online with "Security" or "Abuse" in the subject line, or call +852 13157549890. We acknowledge security reports within 2 business days. We welcome good-faith vulnerability disclosure and will not pursue researchers who report responsibly, avoid privacy violations and give us reasonable time to fix an issue before publishing.
